22B comparison to Diy stereo stim

Post by Ronfire7 »

I have been looking at the Smartstim site and thinking of a stereo stim unit or just getting a 2B.
Wondering if anyone has both a 2B and a Stereo stim unit and can give a comparison.
So far I have a Pebble, am addicted and want more

Given that StereoStim units vary in so many ways, it's difficult to compare even two stereo stim units against each other. The 2B is NOT a stereostim unit, it is not designed to reproduce stereostim signals in the same way. Like a ElectroPebble play music and the sensations are fantastic, start to send it waves of various frequencies thinking that they are going to feel good and you will be disappointed.

The 2B also has more modes, is controllable across the internet, from a pc (or a mac), can record and play back sessions and is upgradeable. And did I mention it has a lifetime guarantee. Not sure how many stereo stim units can compete with that :-)

I do realize that the 2B has more options and reprograms in it. I was just wondering if playing the same stim file if there is a big difference in feel.
I am leaning towards the 2B for many reasons, especially the portability and programmed files. Need to get bored of my Pebble first, or at least play with it for awhile.

It's different, but not that different. StereoStim purists are the same kind of folk who love vinyl records and vintage cars ;)
TBH I much prefer the 2B. See my post here - viewtopic.php?f=14&t=9774&p=14762#p14762

BTW if you believe those DIY StereoStim boxes will save you money then think again. By the time you've gathered together all the parts you can more or less double your original estimates, and that's before you consider the necessary accessories. I'm not dissing StereoStim but it's more a labour of love for hobbyists.

Thanks for the link, that was the information I was looking for but never found it.
The price to build Sterio stim was a consideration as I would most likely end up with 1/2 to 3/4 the price of a new 2B that is guaranteed to work.
A stereo stim has lots of option on controls if you build the high end unit but most of that stuff would not even get used in my case.
Thanks for helping decide, definitely a 2B in my future...soon.

To draw a comparison it's like buying a modern car -vs- building a hot-rod. I once built an incredible V8 kitcar that was exhilarating but useless as a daily driver. Similarly you can have a lot of fun with a StereoStim if it's built well but there are limitations. You cannot control the 'pulse feel' so it's like being stuck in one gear. You must work on the audio input or modify every stimfile to achieve the sensation you are looking for.

If you look at, for example, TroniC's 'Design One' it's a great intro to audio stimming. Simple, no soldering and well-matched amp + transformers. However your control over what you feel at your genitals is entirely limited to volume. You can't even individually control the A-B channel power levels. It can be done, coz I've done it, but it's complicated.

With my 2B I have instant control over what my cock/balls/ass tells me they like. There are many reasons why I prefer my 2B. I like the 2B's superior power, its smaller size, its better Stereo audio experience, its ease-of-use and, above all, the blissful sensations it gives which suit me perfectly - all in one, small box. It carries a lifetime guarantee with an excellent back-up service and its firmware is being constantly updated making it future-proof with many beta versions to try. A new, final firmware version is nearing completion.

In a nutshell I use my StereoStim boxes occasionally for a rough, one-night-stand. But most of the time I 'come home' to my 2B because it dutifully does everything I ask and keeps me begging for more.
