Soft silicone leads

Post by Rumle »

Im looking for some soft silicone leads, to replace the rather stiff pvc leads, that comes with the 2B.

Anyone have some suggestions or recommendations ?

Stereo mini jack to 2 x 2mm pin.

Interestingly I have very stiff but also soft cables from E-Stim-Systems.

Very nice soft cables are available from SeriousKit https://www.seriouskitshop.com/cables-a ... rol-boxes/ (I hope I'm allowed to name the link?), but with 4mm plugs, but there are adapters.

I have seen those, just think the 4 mm plugs are to bulky for my use.
Guess Ill have to make my own.
Only challenge is, where do I source the 2 mm pins ?

I just made a triphase cable using this.
https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B0785V ... UTF8&psc=1
I had some 2mm pin leads so I cut off the stereo plug a soldered on the pin leads from another cable and a little shrink tubing.
The cable is nice and flexible, also made to about 3' so less cable to deal with.

I recently found a supplier in Germany that offers very pleasantly soft cables in various lengths with very robust-looking gold-plated, connectors (spring). Both 2 mm and 4 mm. The price is also quite reasonable. Wonder why I didn't discover this sooner.

2 mm

4 mm

I suppose ordering from within the EU is unproblematic, outside you would have to ask.
