How much conductive lube do you need?

Post by Firefly »

How much conductive lube do I need when using a rubber loop around my balls sack etc. Would it be enough to smear the loops first, then fit them, or do I need to use loads on my balls where the loop contacts?

Yes, but don't just smear them. Put plenty on until it's starting to drip off the loops.
If your lube starts to dry out during a long session just wet it with a fine-mist spray bottle like this one - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/264811843735

Thanks for asking this question and thank you for the response. Didn't realize it could be spritzed to revitalize.

I feel I need to revisit this topic. I have the Prestige Electraloops https://www.mr-s-leather.com/sex-toys/e ... ectraloops which don't fully open. So to use the loop as a cockring you have to push your bits through the loop - you can't wrap it around. By the time you get it in place, the electro gel is mostly wiped off. I find it is easier to get it situated loosely then do your best to get it lubed before cinching it down. If you get lube into the aluminum cinch block it won't stay tight.

I have also wondered how well the electro gel stays on the bipolar butt plug https://www.mr-s-leather.com/sex-toys/e ... -wmcbp-2-0 after passing through the anus. It certainly works well in place so I guess there's at least a thin layer of gel still covering it.

I find that putting conductive gel on your body where the loop is going to sit the most effective way, and then I get the loop put into place after.

Wish it was less messy and easier to apply!

What work for me is to put the CR loop in place, then put a some conductive lube on my finger and smear it on the CR between it and my skin, putting it just where I need it.

We also do TacGel which is more sticky https://store.e-stim.co.uk/index.php?ma ... ucts_id=53

This is really very sticky.

I like Parker Spectra 360 best, it's quite tough but not sticky, makes good contact between the skin and all electrodes (except self-adhesive pads).
If you compare the prices you will find it not expensive.
Water-based, of course.

Just remember that SpectraGel is NOT rated for internal use.
