Loose nut

Post by AmberTS »

Hello,

I just received my 2b today which I was very excited about, but when I opened it I heard something rattling around inside. I opened the battery compartment and a small nut and a red washer fell out. I am a little concerned about using it without knowing what these were attached to. Does anyone know if it would still be safe to use? I have emailed E-stim but I will probably not here back from them until Monday. Thanks in advance :)

Yup still safe. We manufacture in batches, so its possible the loose nut is not even from that unit, but from the container of nuts/washers on the bench at the time. But yes it should not have happened and for that we apoligise.

Rattling is normally the battery connection wire

Thank you so much for the replies!! I held off using it yesterday just to be safe, but I'm very glad to know the washer and nut are nothing to worry about. Now I get to play with my new toy all night!!! :D

Mine also has a rattle sound but I believe its the 9-Volt battery connector.
