Waveform shapes for Series 2B

Post by AirmaxAndy »

I have a couple of questions about the new 2B unit.

What waveform shapes are supported by default in the 2B...? Can you draw them rather than describe them?

Does it have a mode which is essentially the same as the Series 1 in Pulsed mode, with variable amplitude, pulse width and frequency?

Thanks,

Andy

The 2B is designed to operate with standard audio input, not specific waveforms, so anything with a wide range of audio content will work. Low frequenices give a more thuddy feeling, while the higher frequiencies, then to feel sharper. You can also adjust the filtering factor with the controls to get even more adjustment.

Yes is called pulse mode :-) The adjustment is via the Channel A or B control for Ampitude, the pulse frequency is via the adjust knob, and the pulse feel is adjusted via the select+adjust knob (hold select & twiddle the adjust knob).

The problem with drawing some of the waveforms on the 2B is a number of them change over a period of time and are not constant.
