But since the 2b can take as input a sound file, you could force it to generate 60 Hz no?
You could try, but the 2B is designed to make normal music interesting, and since the human body is more responsive to changes in signal, an input of 60Hz is not going to always generate a 60Hz output.

In terms of the original post, anything that will switch mains voltages will generally be fine for E-Stim Signals, and the energy duration is lower.
