Device defective ???

Hello I'm stumbling in here with a problem ...
My newly purchased 2B seems to be a Monday device.
Stereo function: No matter what source I use, the included CD or one of the many files here from the forum (a big thank you to the authors!) I have different strengths of the rashes on the device. If channel "A" shows full swing, I only have about 40% on channel "B". The output device (computer) but brings a clear same strong signal on both channels.
Is that normal?

Likewise microphone, it is supposed to register a conversation from several meters. But I have to scream 10 cm in front of the device and get only a third rash. At the electrodes, nothing is felt. If I turn up to over 90%, I get at the electrodes, independent continuous signal.

Am I really too stupid to use the device as claimed by the dealer I bought, or is it really broken?
Of course I complained about the device. But only got the answer: Device is not broken!

Thanks for helpful answers
Claus

Can I ask you do drop an email to info@e-stim.co.uk with details of the dealer. I am a little concerned about your comment "Am I really too stupid to use the device as claimed by the dealer I bought, or is it really broken?"

Audio is a complex subject and many people get too hung up on specifics - plug it in, adjust the inputs so you get a good response on the display, and start to play with the settings. The more you experiment, the more you will find what works for you. Not ever track works for every person, indeed I find that even from day to day a favourite track works sometimes and other times its mediocre.

2.106, the latest public beta has an improved microphone response so you might like to try that, but the microphone is sensitive to ambient noise, box orientation and also what it is sitting on.

Are you too stupid to use the unit? Of course not!!!!

Thanks for the answer.
Of course I have a lot to try and test.
BUT if I already see on the device that channel A and B vary in severity does not bring much.
NO it is not due to the signal!
I have tested this with a test signal. Same volume one channel 100%, the other 45%.
Of course, the cable may be broken, so I sent in with, but it was obviously not checked ...
Likewise, there is something wrong. In no case it registers a conversation, not even if I speak directly in front of the device in normal volume. When I scream I get a small rash. When knocking with the device on the table just three - four strokes.
Does not have to be the micro itself, yes, can also be the further processing of the signal.

The displays show the input, not the output, so if you are seeing a mismatch then have you adjusted the balance of the incoming signal?

As I said, drop an email to info@e-stim.co.uk are the support team can help

Pm read ???

Yes I have. I even recorded a test signal. Both channels are the same across the speaker, also measured with an app on the phone. Only on the 2B one channel is only fed with 40%, if the other has 100%.

A Stereo audio file will usually display different levels in the 2B's LCD audio bars. Depending on the file it's quite normal for the R/H display bar to register less input.
If you try playing a mono audio file the levels should be the same.

That is clear, that with one of your files the signal on the channels is different
But I tested it with a continuous signal that switches back and forth between the right and left channels.
A = 100% B = 45%
That's definitely not right
I can not test your suggestion right now because I sent the device back for review.

The stereo audio files do have different mapping across channels..... but it could also be the driver, the output and the cables. But if you have sent it back the test team, will give it a checkout.... Although where are you getting the 100%/45% values? that is the setting of the output and can be any value. did the bargraphs match each other on the input? or is the 100%/45% an estimate of the bargraph value?

The Bargraphs shows input, the % levels control how much of the input is transfered to the output. Ideally you should have an input that just peaks the bargraph to give you maxmium output.

The 100% / 45% are estimates of the input value. That means, if I set the volume so that I have a full swing on the bar diagram on channel A, then it is on channel B barely half. Not with an e-stim signal, but with a test tone that serves both channels equally.
Yes, I have returned the device to the German dealer. He has forwarded my error message without a device to England. From there came back the answer I sent you on Sunday as PM (I did not want to post the e-mail from England here in public ...)
Did you read that?
Practical test with a file here from the forum;
Channel A - on the penis root and glans (silicone loop). B - Bipolar butt plug
Input signal (volume) adjusted so that the bar diagram of channel A moves visibly (max. half)
Channel A is clearly noticeable, on channel B I notice nothing. Output strength both channels about 25%.
If I exchange the exits A for B, I no longer feel for B, and for A it is almost too high.
And that with the same passage of the file.
Something is not right for me ...

Can someone here speak the German language?
Good enough to translate my error message into English.
The German dealer is not able to solve my problem and I would like to send it to the manufacturer himself.
I would then post here in German answer then please by mail or PM to the forum not too strained.
Sorry, but English is not my native language, I work here with Google translator ...
