using "recorded sessions" tool as another way of controlling 2B

Post by somestuffs » Sat Jan 26, 2019 5:26 pm

Hello I read about 2B and the possibility to control it from comptuter , via recorded sessions which are textual instructions, which should in theory allow you to write them or generate them as well?

can you share some sample text file?

also do the manual knobs on the device increase or reduce the output from the commander?

Yes, they do - in fact you can use the commander and the knobs together to control the 2B. Manual changes done directly at the 2B are reflected in the Commander once it sends the next change/command to the 2B.

I have done an excel file to be able to program different levels and automatically generate the text file. Works nice, but timing is a nightmare, cause it never starts exactly when I press the "play" button

I was going to do a similiar thing, do you generate that before session, or on the go?

I did it to be able to synchronise it to a movie or a song, so usually before the session
