StimMe APP - control your E2B with your phone

Post by phil490 »

I have created an APP for Android called StimMe: https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... tec.stimme.

It connects an Android device to an E2B via USB or via Bluetooth.

Features:
  • Main-Mode: Control many settings of your E2B comfotably.
  • Rise-Mode: Values A & B are increased over a 1-60minutes.
  • Punish-Mode: Increases A & B to punish you or your partner. It can be triggered by a certain noise level, or movement detection. I had a lot of fun in the last weeks .
How to use:
1) Establish a connection between your Smartphone and the E2B
  • USB: you need to connect the E2B with your smartphone via an OTG-cable.
  • Bluetooth: you need to plug in a bluetooth module (e.g. HC05) in your E2B.
2) Switch on your E2B
3) In the APP press "Options -› Connect"
4) StimMe now detects the E2B firmware and you can start playing.

I am looking forward to your feedback - please be kind - it is my first APP ;)

I would like to try this with the Bluetooth adapter in the 2b. What kind of adapter do I need. All I can find is sending or receiving separately. Or is this no problem. Does it only need to receive? Because the data comes from the app.

The hc05 I'm looking for seems to be for a raspberry pi? No jack connector/plug

You not only need a HC05 but also voltage supply + head phone jack. Data is sent in both direction, from E2B to HC05 and vice versa.
I packed all this in a small box as you can see here: https://ibb.co/85ZTWzB

PS: If you are interested in it I can perhaps offer you one. Just drop me a PM.

@phil490

This looks amazing. Thanks for making this app. I like the clear UI and the options it has.

I haven't connected it yet so I've just been testing it on my phone.

In regards to the Rise and Sessions, I noticed that the "timer"counts down to zero. Does this mean the "power" rises or drops?

Also, I don't know if you take requests hehe 😁

But is it possible to have a feature in Rise where the power rises over a certain time and then when it reaches that time the Power stays at the level for another predetermined time?

So for example the power might take 2 minutes to reach 50 and then it stays at 50 for a further3 minutes.

Would this be possible or something you might be interested in adding?

Thanks again for your hard and amazing work

Of course...I am looking forward for requests/improvements. At the moment the app is only based on my own requests so far:)

To explain:
During the countdown the power rises always by the chosen values and stays there.
When "revert" in session-mode is active the power drops after the rise is finished to the value before.
In the playstore I have added some explainatory pictures to the different modes. Hope that helps... Perhaps I include a help sectio in the future.

@ErikM1972: thanks for the info, I wrote you a PM

Same here, but would love it with an USB dongle. Don't know which one is good.
