Newbie problem? Hoping for suggestions.

Post by Pinocchio »

Hi all!

A few months ago I bought an ElectroPebble. This was my first experience with e-stim stuff. I looked into things like electrode placement etc. and experimented for a while.

Once you get used to it, it feels nice enough. Despite that however, my problem is that my junk just ends up getting numb and flaccid. And then there's nowhere else to go from there. Certainly no climax.

So I'm really hoping there is something I can do to change that. As it stands unfortunately, I can't really use it for its intended purpose, which is a shame.

Any suggestions most welcome and appreciated!

Cheers

Hiya - There is a long learning curve to good stimming. You just need a little more experience and education. Some newbie info here - https://tinyurl.com/yckh8uac

Hi Stimaddict, thanks! Those are the kinds of things I looked into when doing my research and found them very valuable. I'm sure there is much to learn through experimentation.

Alas my concern is that none of that will matter so long as zapping my manparts causes it to go numb and limp. Unless that depends on electrode placement as well?

The results of my experimentation so far seem to be two-fold:
1 - Electrode placement is hit-and-miss, there is a lot to learn and it takes practice to find good setups for me and to get them right. That's ok!
2 - In all cases for me so far, irrespective of previous point, e-stim causes numbness, which causes loss of erection/arousal. That's a dead end... (literally).

It's the second point that I'm mainly concerned with for now. If I can solve that, then the first point takes care of itself with time. Hope that makes sense.

Cheers

Yes I do understand but these problems are not unique to you. They're common issues most noobs have to contend with. What electrodes are you using and where are you placing them? How long is your typical stim session?

I was stimming for over 15 years with various devices and not once go close to HFO. about 8 months or so ago the magic HFO occurred, totally out of the blue. I too was numb and flaccid at the time but it was amazing. I have now edited a sound file together and I can achieve HFO in about 4 minutes if I so desire, every time. Stimulating the prostate and the glans are the secret for me.

That's somewhat reassuring, so my question is what can I do about it.

In terms of electrodes at the moment I just have the basic sticky pads, CR loops and straps. I've tried an anal egg electrode once but wasn't too keen on it.

As for session length I would guess that my first few sessions lasted maybe an hour or so, just trying different things and getting my bearings. But this would soon get shorter and shorter, as it became clear that I kept running into the same problem no matter what I tried, and wasn't getting much else out of it.

Thanks for that, I guess there is hope.

Curious what kept you going for 15 years? Did you have better results in the meantime than just getting numb and limp? There must be a whole spectrum of enjoyment between that and HFO's.

Even if I can't manage HFO's, it would be nice if I could still use estim as part of sex/play/masturbation sessions, which currently is not the case unfortunately.

This has happened to me a few times and I find its normally because I have ramped up current too fast when I was not in the right frame of mind.
I'm not really a fan of porn I find it more stimulating to use my imagination, Sometimes playing back experiences that where really great or ideas
I would like to try.

Definitely worth considering, thanks. I think I may have tried increasing the levels in attempts to maintain arousal, but maybe that's just counter productive and I should slow it down and not rely too much on zapping.

Cheers

I find that I am flaccid almost all the times I stim and still manage a HFO, usually 60 to 90 min, have managed as fast as 20 min .
As previously stated it is mostly the frame of mind. I find at time I am better off without the porn and work from memories, do have a few great ones.
