Frequency Range?

Post by Zylinderkopf »

I read in the description "Input Sensitivity 500mV, 200 to 6000Hz"
Does this mean, all signals below 200Hz and above 6000Hz are ignored by the Unit and will not amplified?

Frequency Range?

No they tail off. It's not a sudden cut off. However generally frequencies above 6khz are not felt by the human body.

thank your for the answer!

Ok, above 6.000Hz make it no sense - but lower then 200Hz is interesting.
My actual Unit does goes from 10 to 150Hz

The ABox is very interesting, i would like to play with a very powerful "signal/sound generator" app on my ipad

I think you are confusing audio signals with pulsed signals. The 2B will for instance pulse lower than 1Hz, but an audio signal below 20Hz is very hard to feel, compared to a higher frequency. And also I didn't say the ABox doesn't respond to the lower frequencies, just the response tails off and reduced the lower you go.
