luckily I have a 2nd hand box so don't have these sort of dilemmas! πŸ€”
Other than the fact that should you need to have the unit repaired we reserve the right not to repair units that have been modified at all. Something worth considering, is it worth opening the unit up and then not being able to get any support on the unit rather than have us deal with it, and as all repairs are dealt with within 5 working days of arrival with us, and often within a couple of days, generally the wait to have a unit repaired is pretty small.

Hy,
I didn't explain what I did to encourage somebody else to do the same. I didn't think about the warranty when I did it. In my defense, I work in electronics and I have professionnel tools, but I know that don't excuse me ;-)
I would like to know if I am the only one to meet this problem of sensitivity on B channel compared to the A channel when using the stereo mode ? Or is it a known problem (from E-stim) ?

Have to say when my 2B developed a fault a couple of years back Mick immediately sent me out a brand new replacement. You can't find better customer service than that.

Nope generally the response from the two channels is the same. There is always going to be a very small variation down to component tolerances, and this is normally only measurable under lab/test conditions, not during play.

hi, is there any estimated general release date for the new firmware? I can't wait to give it a try. I was wondering though whether it is possible to go back to my current firmware if I do not like the new version for any reason.

Cheers

Not yet as we are still manual writing....... ( i hate writing manuals)

You could always drop a PM to get into the developers section to try it

Yes you can go back to 2.106 if you wish

The ability to return to a previous firmware versions is one of the big improvements that's occurred since I originally got my 2B. In my experience, software improvements, in whatever field, don't always feel like improvements to everyone if a favourite feature is taken away (as so often happens with Microsoft Office applications), so it's nice to be able to revert to a favourite from the past.
