I just bought a new 2B and compared it with my old Series 2.
I was very curious about the feeling of the new 2B.
After all there are years of developement between the two boxes now.
Both boxes seem to be a lot different although most of the modes still have the same principle and name.
Of course I'm still much more used to the old Series 2 and the feel seems somewhat smoother.
I was a little disappointed that the speed of the pulses seems to have increased a lot and
I have to turn back to 1 - 10 to have it approximately slow enough.
Also the regulation of the power seems to have lost its linearity.
If you change the parameters the 2B is always "good for a suprise" - I still handle it with a lot of "respect".
Anyone with similar experiences ?
Some ideas how to use both machines at the same time ? (I'll experiment anyway ...)

Re: Old Series 2 and 2 B
The key is different - even more so when you get onto the beta firmware.
The Series 2 for some people had issues with power, hence the 2B which is an evolution from the Series 2, hence some similar modes - and a small number do not agree that a 2 is better than a 2B, but many do.

What do you mean by a "different key" ? The type of current ?
The "waveform" of the current ?
Today I noticed when using the 2b on the mains power supply that the display blinked (synchroniously with the impulses).
Also the battery sign showed "low" or "empty" when raising the level - is this normal ?
Should I or can I keep the battery in place when using the adapter ?
And - you make me curious about the beta-code 2.105 ... !

No I ment to say the 'key' is the 2B and the Series 2 are different units, the 2 is not just an upgraded Series 2 its a different design in many ways.jimbeam wrote:What do you mean by a "different key" ? The type of current ?

You can find it in viewforum.php?f=19 but you need to be registered as a developer, and you will need the digital link etcToday I noticed when using the 2b on the mains power supply that the display blinked (synchroniously with the impulses).

Yes if the battery is going flat
It shouldn't make a differenceShould I or can I keep the battery in place when using the adapter ?

Re: Old Series 2 and 2 B
With the mains adapter the display blinks and battery shows low .... is it possible that my mains adapter doesn't have enough power ?
(It came with the Pro Pack ! )
Shouldn't it be "30 % above battery" ?

that is quite unusual - you might want to drop customer services an email and they can get it checked out - info@e-stim.co.uk

Ok - tried the mains today with the battery in place.
This time there was no unusual behavior.
Have to try again without battery to check whether the problem comes back.
