Also just got my 2b! Quick initial review!

Post by estimfun »

I just got my 2b. I'm currently experiencing step mode while I write this. ..... And I just had to stop writing because the feeling was so intense... That might be all you need to know for this initial review. Unfortunately I don't have time to full mess with this right now as I am about to head into work.

So I've owned so far:
  • Cheap tens units of various kinds
    Erostek 312B
    Erostek Remote
At this point I've spent $1000's on Estim boxs and electrodes... I took a break from it, but I've never experienced anything as intense and satisfying, I keep coming back.

Electrodes im using right now:Just 1 set of Conductive loops - Channel A

Quick Initial review of the 2b: Wow its so much smaller than I was expecting (Thats a good thing!). The build quality and feel on this is AMAZING. Everything feels solid in the hand the I love how tight feeling the nobs are.

Threw on some loops, threw in the battery and off I went. Uh wow.... ohhh Holy shit! ....Ohhhhhhhh omg... OMG.... OH MY FUCKING GOD *Grips the bed sheets*... I almost got a HFO this first time using it.

Unfortunately that's all the time I have for this review and this initial play.

I can't wait to add the raspberry pi to it with serial connection and get some more fun things going...

Holy shit, is it amazing how much fun you can get from a small 9v battery? Can't wait to explore this more. Unfortunately I've got to start work again and I'll have to wait until my next weekend.

There are two key things the adaptor brings. Firstly, a little more power - I wouldn't say a huge amount, but reasonable extra oomph.

But, perhaps more important are duration and predictability. You can have a long session, without worrying that the battery level will drop, and you know that setting a channel to a particular value will be the same as the last time (subject to the usual variance of your body)

I think with adapeur is so much powerful than baterry. Me on battery i can handle 100% of continious mode but with adapteur i cant handle more than 35% (high power both) because its really painful.

The adaptor is really a "must have" for the 2B, for all the reasons stated above. I only use the 2B on battery if I want to be mobile. (I have used it for stimming in the garden, around the house etc., and I know of people who have used it for stimming covertly in public areas.) Otherwise, it's the adaptor for me every time. It also eliminates the hassle of buying and disposing of batteries, and assessing whether the one you're using is going to get you through your next session, and whether it's time to change to a fresh one.

1 Month Review!

So I've had the 2b for about one month... Seems like a lot longer than that... In that time I've connected the the raspberry pi zero w, and programmed my own software for ramping up the power levels based on time and also based on motion. The fact that I can control every aspect of it with my own custom software is amazing.

At this point, every stim session with the 2b results in a HFO... It doesn't happen quickly, but if I work at it I can make it happen.
I'm very happy with the product.

The biggest thing that makes this product amazing for me is being able to control it with my own custom software.

I've found out if I do a prolonged session I can easily go to 100 and still want more. I think I need to pick up a power supply adapter for this so I can get more power. I'm trying to come up with ideas that would cause an HFO come faster. Right now it takes me a few hours, but it does happen.

Glad you're enjoying yourself!
If you get hold of a power adaptor, do post again and let us know how you get on with it.
