RedKite> Get the mains adapter. It's completely safe and saves a fortune in batteries, plus you get an instant power boost of up to 30% just by plugging it in.

Yes that's what I thought. It seems the mains adapter makes a big diffetence to the power but unfortunately no socket ine the bathroom and I have to be discreet in a shared house.

I'm really looking forward to joining the developers' forum. Hopefully some interesting tweaks to the programs. I find Throb, Continuous and Waterfall most interesting so far. Some programs seem a bit fierce but maybe I need to work on electrodes and settings. Generally I really like the 2B.

An alternative would be to just plug in a small rechargeable 12v SLA battery, say 3 to 5Ah which in Hi-Power mode would give you around 8-12 hours of use between charges and you will still get a power boost. On the 12v connection jack at the bottom of the 2B the center pin is +Ve, but be careful as its a slightly longer plug than many available.

Good idea. I'll definitely look into getting a rechargeable power pack.

Can you compare 2B and ET312B please more detaily?estimfun wrote: ↑Thu May 17, 2018 12:29 am I just got my 2b. I'm currently experiencing step mode while I write this. ..... And I just had to stop writing because the feeling was so intense... That might be all you need to know for this initial review. Unfortunately I don't have time to full mess with this right now as I am about to head into work.
So I've owned so far:At this point I've spent $1000's on Estim boxs and electrodes... I took a break from it, but I've never experienced anything as intense and satisfying, I keep coming back.
- Cheap tens units of various kinds
Erostek 312B
Erostek Remote
Electrodes im using right now:Just 1 set of Conductive loops - Channel A
Quick Initial review of the 2b: Wow its so much smaller than I was expecting (Thats a good thing!). The build quality and feel on this is AMAZING. Everything feels solid in the hand the I love how tight feeling the nobs are.
Threw on some loops, threw in the battery and off I went. Uh wow.... ohhh Holy shit! ....Ohhhhhhhh omg... OMG.... OH MY FUCKING GOD *Grips the bed sheets*... I almost got a HFO this first time using it.
Unfortunately that's all the time I have for this review and this initial play.
I can't wait to add the raspberry pi to it with serial connection and get some more fun things going...
Holy shit, is it amazing how much fun you can get from a small 9v battery? Can't wait to explore this more. Unfortunately I've got to start work again and I'll have to wait until my next weekend.

The ET312 was state of the art 15 years ago but these days it's a bit of a dinosaur. IMHO the E-Stim Systems 2B is a far better machine at a much lower price. Smaller, more powerful and easier to use. It is constantly being updated with new firmware and it carries a lifetime guarantee. I own both boxes but the 2B is by far my favourite.

In my experience the Erostek 312B and the E-Stim Systems 2B are very different in feel. I use them both with audio input most of the time. I think many of the audio tracks available on the Internet were designed with the ET-312B in mind, and so it seems to pick up many nuances in the tracks that the 2B doesn't. In that respect, the ET-312B often gives a more varied and interesting ride. However, I'm normally looking to HFO during a session, and that often doesn't happen with the ET-312B. The E-Stim Systems 2B, on the other hand, works very well with a large number of audio tracks, and it has a near 100% success rate of taking me to an HFO. It strikes me as the more powerful of the two boxes, and I never get anywhere near the maximum output. It also has all the other advantages Stimaddict mentioned.
