Tri Phase cable
Am I correct in thinking that the Blue cable is the common on the one supplied from E-Stim

Re: Tri Phase cable
No, black is common, blue corresponds to one of the channels (which one depends of course at which plug is in which socket at the box end).

Re: Tri Phase cable
Black is the common, as mrbutt89 just said.
I suggest to mark the 3.5 connectors so you don't have to test which channel is red and which is blue every time. For example I labeled the 3.5 connectors with a small round of red and blue adhesive tape.

Re: Tri Phase cable
I don't understand why users buy expensive TriPhase cables when it's so easy to rig up your own DIY 2-into-1 adapter cable for next to nothing.
If you are using a Conductive Rubber loop as the 'Common' electrode you don't even need a TriPhase cable or adapter. Simply plug in two cables (one from each channel) into both ends of the CR tubing and you're good to go.

Re: Tri Phase cable
I got my Triphase cable for free when I ordered my 2B (if I recall correctly it was a temporary offer) so I use itStimaddict wrote: ↑Thu Feb 14, 2019 11:14 am I don't understand why users buy expensive TriPhase cables when it's so easy to rig up your own DIY 2-into-1 adapter cable for next to nothing.
But you've got absolutely a point when you say it's easy to rig up an adapter!

Re: Tri Phase cable
Made mine in less than 5 minutes. I just snipped the 2mm plug off an old TENS cable and cut the tail wires out of two TENS pads. Stripped the cable ends then just 'twist and taped' them all together. Hey presto - instant 2-into-1 TriPhase adapter, and it still works perfectly years later. The bonus is I feel kinda smug every time I use it

Re: Tri Phase cable
TriPhase, or a 3-Electrode Setup, is simply just this:
. .
Stim boxes use a kind of alternating current waveform so there is NO positive or negative. For the "Common" electrode you can connect two red cables, two blacks, or one red and one black - it really doesn't matter.
As a rule of thumb the "Common" electrode should be where you want the most stimulation. For me that's usually the glans, but if you like ball stimming better then position the common trode there. The common can be ANY electrode - a pad, a Conductive Rubber loop, a metal cock ring or a butt plug.
