Hi all,
I'm looking at purchasing a 2B soon. The feature that most excites me is the possibility of connecting the 2B to a computer (Linux Mint) and writing some simple python to generate random output to stim myself. The outlay for a 2B is quite significant and I want to be sure I get all the right kit in order to connect the power unit to my computer.
So, my question is whether or not a standard UDB cable can be used to connect a laptop running Linux to the 2B.
Cheers - scott

No. The cable supplied is actually a digital interface - more than a usb cable, Secondly without purchasing the Digital link Interface you don't get UpLink, the software to update the 2B. This is only supplied with the Digital Link System.
