Electrode Placement Guide

Post by aurornova25 »

Can anyone recommend any good books or resources on electrode placement?
I'm hoping to find something really scientific with awareness for different frequencies & nerve/muscle anatomy.
Preferably something illustrated? :P

My 2b is severely underutilized because I'm struggling with electrode placement.

For ideas of where to place electrodes check out Joanne's website: https://www.sexmachinereviews.co.uk/adv ... tions.html

It's just a case of keep experimenting until you find what's right for you. What have you tried so far?

Sometimes quick n' easy is best. One of my favourites is a simple 2-pad arrangement, as outlined here: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=9980&p=15815#p15815

Read this page, again from Joanne: https://www.sexmachinereviews.co.uk/ele ... gasms.html

I understand where you are coming from, but definitely read the guides even if you don't end up liking their configurations or have the right electrodes for them. The overview on the nerves to stimulate are spot on.

I have a few conductive loops and I really think they are underwhelming, I get a lot more bang for my buck out of pads and those copper infused bands (those blue straps you see in e-stim porn from time to time), and of course insertables. You may also like electrodes on places that aren't really mentioned in the guides, which may require things like cock/ball straps to give you better places to put pads (because saggy skin is not good for adhesive).

Oh NO, don't underutilize, over utilize that 2B and experiment, experiment, experiment. The fun is in the learning.

All the above advice is spot on and I love Joanne’s guides, lots of good info that is fact based and tested on herself and mantoy. :D
Don’t be afraid to try some recommended for the opposite sex. For example: the simple one pad on each butt cheek illustrated for women, I tried by adding an Aneros up the bum to that configuration and it had that toy rubbing my prostate in ways it hadn’t before. Another I have seen woman using is a pad on the bottom of each foot or ankle. This sends the pulses up your legs to connect in the groin and oral sex or a handjob can take on a whole new dimension of pleasure. That’s just using a single channel and you can have a lot of fun with a simple setup.

So get that 2B out and do some experimenting. ;)

Thanks for the advice guys, the guides mentioned are awesome.
However, I think my application might be a little different. I'm aiming for muscle activation rather than the tingle/torture feelings. It's difficult to get the maximum muscle contraction of as many muscle groups as possible, without the tingle/burn/torture. Particularly any of the anal electrodes, I'm finding that a lot of the anal electrodes just create a burning/tingling sensation with minimal muscle activation? Is this common, or do i just have bad anal electrodes? :p

It might be your electrode. I've got two I use, one is a solid steel plug (traditional butt plug shape (mono-polar)) that gets a solid contraction feeling everywhere down there, the other is an n-joy pure plug that I've added a lead to and that gets a much more concentrated feel, but still a contraction feel. None of these feel like tingling/torture on anything but the lowest or highest settings or unless I'm using some audio files that just don't work right with the 2B.

Now the contraction feel does rely on the routine allowing for contraction and release times (pulsing/milking), and not continuous stimulation.

I'm just using spectra 360 electra gel, nothing special.

I have found, after much experimentation that I need a prostate plug of some sort to get the max enjoyment. Initially I made my own from a piece of stainless steel tubing about 10 mm in diameter. It worked, but not ideal and sometime poked my inside in unpleasant ways...yuk! Currently I have settled on a spade shaped mono-polar plug, about 3 inches long with a flange. It's just like a small stainless butt plug. I then use a silicone pad, 2" is best for me on the underside of my penis, away from the glans. Over the pad I place a really soft ball stretcher toy which holds the pad in place nicely even if there is a lot of precum. The ball stretcher has a small hole, maybe 7 mm but is extraordinarily stretchy and is maybe 40-50 mm in length.

Oh, I'm just using a standard TENS 7000 unit. With the above setup I can add a cock ring which really intensifies the feeling on my cock. If I am aiming for a prostate orgasm, it is best to eventually remove the cock ring so you can increase the power without blowing your cock up! That way more goes to the prostate. I gradually increase the intensity, and it takes at least an hour and a half, but its a good journey, until you start to get close to prostate Os. The whole are around the prostate plug starts to get warm, then try to focus only on the feeling in the prostate, ignoring the cock as much as possible, much of the outcome relies on this mental part. Once they start coming they keep coming every few minutes for as long as you can take it.

I'm guessing the fit of the anal electrode is important for spread of muscle activation. has anyone come across an inflatable conductive anal electrode?

Im guessing having the electrode maximally spread over the sphincter is the key?

Do you recon if i added salt to regular lube or j-lube it would make it conductive?

Inflatable anal electrodes have been tried and generally are a failure. I wouldn’t add salt to a lube as it will start to corrode many metals - why not consider a dedicated E-Stim lube?
