I have recently replaced my HP windows laptop with a Asus Chromebook. When I connected this Via the audio connector to my 2B the chromebook turned itself off . Presumably this was some sort of protection form a short circuit. I had no problems connecting the laptop.
I have overcome this by purchasing a Bluetooth audio receiver from Amazon and connecting this way which works fine .
I am curious to why I cannot connect directly . Any Ideas?
Thanks

Re: Audio connection Problem
Its down to how some laptops using multiple use inputs control their inputs and outputs, its a case of PC manufacturers trying to be too clever - Later versions of our Beta Firmware do solve the issue.
