Thanks for the explanation.. now I know why there is a spike when power is quickly switched to the electrodes.
I haven't worked on this again so far, but I plan to do so very soon.. gotta wire the relay board first.

I just wondered if there's been any update on the 2b "fire" mode in firmware?

picking up this years-old thread, but does it damage the 2B to have the output suddenly switched in like this?
or is it just undesirable for the "load" ?
