Trouble removing battery

Post by Forest501 »

Does anyone else struggle getting the battery out? I’m always worried about damaging the wire because I have to pry the battery out. It goes in easy and you would think it would come out as easily but it doesn’t.

You’re right. I tried a similar approach once but the screwdriver dug into the edge of the battery and peeled it up. After watching the video, I see how easy it is and I’m glad to know there is no longer a risk of me damaging the connector every time I change the battery. Thank you.

I don't think 0.5mm is going to make much difference, they are a folded piece of mass produced metal. We use Procell, which are Duracell professional mainly because they work well in terms of power

I use rechargeable lithium batteries. They are usually shorter than normal ones. You can replace them without a screwdriver
