Hi, we've had a 2B for a few years, got the Commander 3, Uplink 2.3 and Estim connect on the Applemac. I can't for the life of me fathom out how to control the unit from the computer. There's a couple of recorded sessions that I'd like to use. I'm no good at tech stuff, I've looked at the videos, trie to understand what I'm reading, nothing is simple for older people like me to understand. The 2B connects withCommander 3 but won't find the recorded session.
What am I doing wrong with this?

Re: Help with estim 2B
You have got past the hard bit.
Run commander3 and connect to your 2B.
go to File then select Session Player.
press the first red button looks like a triangle arrow up. This will open a normal file window on your mac. navigate to the session file click on it and press the open button
Thats it

No, it's not that easy. I do that, computer finds 2B, I press connect, it conencts then give a message 2B is not connected. I've followed all the instructions, still get the same message. At my wits end. I press the connect button again and get a beep and the same message is your 2B connected.

Re: Help with estim 2B
So you first statement "the 2B connects withCommander 3 but won't find the recorded session." was incorrect.
You need to get the 2B to connect to commander before anything else will work.We have a video. https://youtu.be/CHR4_fFGstE
So what firmware are you using on your 2B. What version of Mac OS. Do you see the USB serial connection on the drop down in commander? t when you connect to the 2B?
Error Serial port 9 generally indicates you are not connecting to the correct port in the drop down.
can you post a log? Commander 3 View ->Activity Window and then cut and paste.....
