estim settings for smooth muscle stimulation (ED)

Post by eken »

TLDR; has anyone tried creating audio files for ED/muscle stimulation therapy

Hey all,

I'm trying to pick this up on my own but was wondering if anyone had experience on it.
I have ED from venous leak - can get erections, but can't keep them. Penis aren't very effective

One thing I've come across trying is using estim to strengthen the IC muscle / cavernous smooth muscles around the penis. One working theory is that area is underdeveloped and bad at keeping blood in during an erection.

I have a 2B and want to give this a shot. But I feel overwhelmed by the terms thrown around (carrier wave? swelling current?). The 2B has relative parameters, so it seems like creating an audio file makes sense.
* One setting was "30 minutes using the following parameters: frequency of 5 Hz, a pulse width of 150µs, and contraction time of 3 seconds"
* One described a two phase current flow
* One detailed creating a waveform by "creating a carrier wave which is then pulsed on and off for defined short periods of time. These are sometimes interspersed with pulses at a slightly different frequency. So it's best to use 2 channels to apply the dual frequency treatment or you'll under/over stimulate the muscles.

Generally, 1:2 stimulation to rest. Below pain threshold
