Running 2.10 Firmware.
Select option 22 to enable/disable commander.
When set to "On", you return to whatever mode you were on previously, but on setting to "Off" the text "Commander" remains. Also, a single press of the Select button returns you to the menu, and straight to option 22. The same thing happens when selecting "Default". On an unrelated note, why have On/Off/Default? Surely it'll either be on or off for a new piece of firmware, or on/off manually thereafter?

Re: BUG: Option 22
Its a hold over from some of the code that was cut out from the 2.10 firmware, and it was only spotted after it was released. It will be fixed in the next update, or more likely it will actually have the additional functions that half exist.

No worries, doesn't seem to be a fatal problem, just was odd behaviour

Re: BUG: Option 22
Hi Si
have you found a way to do a firmware upgrade from 2.09 to 2.10x using the uplink cable? or is it easier to buy a replacement chip?
Cheers

Re: BUG: Option 22
At the moment it is easier to purchase a replacement IC. The new code is in progress, but we are spending more time testing to avoid some of the issues that have occured before
