At 52800mAh capacity running at 12v on Hi-Power I would guesstimate around 25 hours of use between charges.

That's based on my own 12v powerbank: viewtopic.php?f=14&t=10054&p=16259#p16198
25 hours... that will do me  seriously though could anyone stay connected to thier 2b for a whole day? :geek:
Longest i have managed was 18 hours using 2 9V batteries (not completely depleted), was a very intense day lol

I bought this powerbank but it doesn't work:

The powerbank always turns off.

Manual:
"Load your mobile device via the DC jack"
...
If devices are connected to draw a current that is above the specifed values, the power bank will turn off for security reasons.
If devices are connected which only need a small current which is below the current of the charger used to detect the end of the charge, then the current will also turn off after a short time."

Do I need another powerbank? Should I use the USB port and an USB 5 v to 12 v converter cable?

According to the specs your XTPower MP-10000 should put out 1 Amp on 12V. That's similar to the mains PSU so it ought to be plenty. Maybe the safety cut out is a little over sensitive because it's designed for charging phones more than hi-power output.

You could try it but personally I've not found those USB voltage step-ups work. Perhaps you should try a different powerbank.

Thank you for your help. That's bad news for me. I will look for a new powerbank.

eguy99> The one you have uses an internal step-up to achieve 12V. Look for a genuine 12v automotive powerbank that will help start a car with a flat battery.
