I'm intrigued as to what improvements have been made over the 2.106 version?

MrSquig> 2.106 is great firmware so personally I think "improvements" is the wrong way to look at it. The new firmware has more options and controllability, a kind of luxury version if you like, but it won't dramatically improve your experience.
I used to own a VW Beetle and a Jaguar. They both got me there in different styles but boy, did I love that simple, reliable old Beetle.

I tried with the new firmware and I had the same problem once.
I've noticed a lot of new features, but my favorite mode stay the stereo mode. I tried the new adv stereo mode, but the feeling is too weak for me.
However, I'm wondering if my box has a problem. I had forgotten that, a few month after buying my e-stim, when I started to play with the stereo mode, no matter the file used, I noticed that the B channel had nearly no reaction. As I am electronicien, I opened my box (because I didn't want to do without the box for a long time if I returned it). I found a jumper beetwen two µC I/Os concerned by the left channel. I removed this strap and the B channel became as sensitive as the A channel ! I had to close this strap again to be able yo upgrade the firmware. I first tested without replacing the jumper, but the B channel had lost its sensitivity. So I had to remove it again.
I have find nobody talking about this kind of problem, so I think my box has something wrong.

Hey, when you opened the box, did you have to break any type of security seals? Since they warranty the box, I was curious if they had anything to make sure you didn't tamper with it.

Yes there are security seals. and if you start un soldering components then our technical team will soon pick up box tampering. We have been doing this for a while

Tampering with the insides can cause damage and WILL invalidate any guarantee. What the point of purchasing a box with a lifetime guarantee to go an invalidate it?
