I've got a pebble that I use for a bit of pain play, mainly on my testicles. Usually I'll just do circular 1.25" pads on either side, and give my boys a good jolt in between. I usually don't get above 75% of power, and the sessions last 30 to 45 mins, occasionally an hour.
Afterwards, the skin on my testicles is usually numb, and the numbness can last several days, but seems to be getting longer after each session.
My question is, am I doing permanent nerve damage to myself? Everything I've read indicates that tens units are safe, but isn't the pebble not a tens unit? Does anyone else have this issue? Should I be concerned?
