Needing some help here

I got my 2b about a year and a half ago and have enjoyed it (perhaps more than I should.)
I've tried many electrode placements, but my favourite is:
Channel A goes from a loop behind the glans to an ass electrode
Channel B goes from a loop behind my testicles to an ass electrode
This is not a tri-phase setup since the ass electrode has two contact points.
My issue is that, from time to time, I felt a bit of pain in my left testicle. Last night, however, it felt like my testicles were in a vise! Very painful.
I did not use any settings out of the ordinary.
Any thoughts on what's going on? I really enjoy my 2b and want to continue using it.
