So I typed in a private message to another user.

When I went to see if any reply I noticed that message in my Outbox rather than my Sent box.

Is that the way it's supposed to work? Does it sit there until read?

If not, how to you actually send it?

It will still show in the outbox until the other person reads it. Then it will move to your sent box.
I wondered the same thing.
