Invalid session
I've downloaded a couple of E'stim programmes on here and when i go into Commander and select those programmes a messgage pops up saying Commander Session invalid. I've been told the search facility should find any file ending with .csf but it appears not to be the case unless the filename starts with Commander Session. am I doing something wrong again?

Re: Invalid session
Sorry, it says invalid session file. i've tried changing the file name to Commander Session download2.csf and again with a date, but still get invalid session file.

Re: Invalid session
Yes, will do when I can find it. Basically there's 3 I've downloaded from here, none of whic work I tried making a very short recorded session of 2 lines then adding the errant file. That worked to a degree but whoever wrote the file appears to have not turned on the A and B channels. there's an hour of zero volt quivering!

Re: Invalid session
I copied this one across from here without alteration and I get the invalid session error. I'm using Commaned 3 on my 2B .training-1h10_by_FunBelgiumEstim.csf
It seems the only ones that run are my own recordings
Commander Session 2023-09-09 followed by a number for instance.
Would I need to run Commander 4? As you may remember I'm not too well up on computer stuff!

Re: Invalid session
You could try. I'm not near my development machines so cannot have a look at the code.... I'll have a peek tomorrow

Hello 67rubberroy,
Which Firmware do you run on your 2B? Wihich commander version do you use? The session Training 1H10 is written for commander 4 AND Firmware 2.126. Succes.

Re: Invalid session
Version 2.106 running on Commander 3. I've tried Commander 4, the csf file seems to load but the control panel is different, I couldn't get the csf to run. I'm not very computer savvy at all. i managed to get the remote control thing workingat one stage but never had cause to use it, commander 3 works ok with my own recordings, 2 off tried so far, but those downloaded from here wont work.

Re: Invalid session
Hello 67ruberroy,
.csf files aren't backwards compatible. A session file recorderd with commander 4 and firmware 2.126 can not run with commander3 and firmware 2.106. Instead a session file recorderd with commander 3 and firmware 2.106 will run on commander 3 and firmware 2.126. Why? In the newer firmware some functions are introduced which ones didn't exist in the older firmware. So a recorderd command with firmware 2.216 will not by recognised by the firmware 2.106. This explains why the file loads but stops running on the moment that, the for the old firmware unknown command, must run. That explains also why your own recorded session files work well.
