Dual Splitter and body resistance

I was wondering about the dual splitter... how many dual splitters can be put as a tree...?

I understand that contacts/electrodes cannot be short circuited because it would irreversibly damage the 2B,... but could enough dual splitters reduce the body resistance between electrodes cause a short-circuit and damage the 2B?
