They were using the remotes in mode 1, the zap mode. I don't know exactly what power levels as the production team had control over that. We actually re-wrote some of the code for them, and checked up on the safety procedures, to make it a bit simpler for them to use.birdburdy wrote:Cool? Which mode/power was it on?
Did they consult you before using it?
No. The Remote is a completely seperate unit like the Series 1. We have considered a Remote Series 2, but the size and complexity would be an issue. Most people want a remote to be small and discreet and the remote functionality is the key.birdburdy wrote:Is it possible to use a remote with the Series 2?
With TV programs Health and Safety is a key issue. The units should not be used above the waist, nor by people suffering from eplisy, heart conditions (pacemakers) and pregnacy. We had to lay out the restictions in quite clear terms. What do you mean by safety procedures?
If I told you that everyone would be trying to make one. The output depends on the load and also the moe, and reacts with the conductivity of the body. In addition we don't generate a simple pulse or even a sine wave, but a much more complex waveform designed to offer the maximum level of sensation possibly. In terms of voltage levels, all of our units produce AC and We work well within the safe limits. (various aspects of BS60601 cover it if you are interested)What kind of voltage/current/frequency output do your e-stims produce?
