The only unit around that has a boost button is a Electrastim EM140, which has an extra button for the boost. The problem with adding such a feature to the 2B, is we don't have a spare button, and its a hardware feature not a software element, However It might be something we add to the Commander software, to boost output by 10% for a period of time.

this would not be retrofitted as a hardware feature? As a retrofit kit? how does it look both Series 1 with the Fire button?

No. retrofitting hardware is complex, expensive and would then have to go through compliance testing.

The Series 1 Fire button is not a boost button, and the Series 1 circuit is completely different to the 2B.

Hmm, thinking about it... Maybe what about a software shortcut?
I mean... A quick knob +1 -1 adjust, gives a +10% shock for 2 seconds.
This would work as a fire! Button
This option could be activated in advanced menu

My Mac/Windows/Android apps have something similar, allowing you to set the increase, and the time it should take to reach that level, then press Boost/Adjust, but it stays there. Do you want it to drop back down afterwards, or remain at the new level?

Typically, I use it for something like "Take 30 seconds to increase each channel by +5"

Yes, I know that feature. I was thinhing on "go to +5 now (with no ramp) and in x seconds, go back to the first value"

Btw, in your app, the motion sensor always go to 0 after a shock. Would be interesting to keep previous values ;)

OK, so you would like a temporary boost option, for both motion sensor and the boost button?

I'll have a think about how to do that without complicating the UI too much

... whats about a samll extra box between the trodes and the 2B?
Inside 2 resistors (for each channel) with a few Ohms (and Watts!) and a 2 pol putton, which short-cuts the resistors?
