About isolated channels

Post by neo80 »

I was connected by mistake to + form channel A and - from channel B.
My partner was connected to + from B and - from A.
We was NOT touching each other, but when turned the power higher we both could feel it. (We felt it low, but we felt it)
Shouldnt it be isolated, so no way to get current from A to B?
Am I missing something?

I noticed the error because I had to turn up the power more than usual. Then we changed the cables to make well the conections.

Mode: Continuous, power Low, "C" setting 50

The channels are transformer isolated so there is no physical connection between the outputs and the inputs and therefore the outputs on each channel - its called galvanic isolation.

So the answer is its more likely to be nerve memory, or you were conducting in a way that you didn't notice - we have had a 2B fail because of conductive through lube on the box itself.

Hope that helps
