Unable to get the digital link recognized on OS X 10.11.6

Post by Rajstopy » Thu Jul 05, 2018 3:26 pm

Hello,

I've been struggling for hours trying to get the 2B linked with my iMac (OS X El Capitan 10.11.6). The digital link is simply not recognized. I've installed the latest drivers, and followed the instructions on the E-Stim web page but no way... The only device I can see is the Bluetooth adapter (should be my Touch pad).

XXX:~ XXX$ ls /dev/tty.*
/dev/tty.Bluetooth-Incoming-Port

Any idea ???

Very disappointed at that stage :(

Raj.

Hello,

I went a step deeper in my analysis and tested the cable on a friend's Windows 7 computer and it worked. So I believe there is no hardware issue.

Coming back to my iMac, I can see the device in the USB list (in the About menu of the system). Nevertheless, no way to get the interface shown in the drop down list of Commander... Looks like the drivers is not able to fetch the device... Don't know....

Have you tried the FTDI drivers? http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP/Mac ... v2_4_2.dmg
